A hand-dyed linen napkin provides the field for three-dimensional ice plant flowers of ultrasuede. The flowers sit atop leaves of silk and cottons, which are raw edge appliquéd. Free motion stitching with rayon thread gives texture to the flower centers. The whole unblocked napkin is appliquéd to the border. Machine appliquéd and quilted.
