The linear striation of colors and textures abound in the Bosque. Water grasses of raffia and corduroy, accented with markers, surround the pond. Above, textured fabric highlighted with paint creates the fields of grains. Beyond are the fall cottonwoods, free motion stitched to create dimension. And to complete this vista, paintsticks applied to textured fabric become the mountains reaching to the hand-painted sky. Machine appliqued and quilted.
