Sandhill Cranes fly above winter vegetation on their way to morning feeding. Cotton batting is used to create the sky, clouds, birds and bushes. Painted batting, overlaid with tulle, creates the sky with stretched edges to create a frame. Birds are embellished with marker details and bushes with free motion stitching. Machine appliquéd and quilted.
